Using ticket credits at checkout

How to use subscription ticket credits, pay fully with credits, split credits with card, and when credits are confirmed.

Quick overview

Ticket credits can be used at checkout if you have an active subscription and available credits on your account. Credits can cover all of your selected tickets, or they may cover part of your order with the remaining amount paid by card.

Credits are only spent when the order is confirmed. If a card payment fails, checkout is cancelled, or the payment stays pending, the tickets should not be treated as confirmed entries.

Using credits for a full entry

Step 1: Add competition tickets to your basket.

Step 2: Open your basket and check the ticket quantity.

Step 3: If your credits cover the full basket, the basket may show that the entries are covered by ticket credits.

Step 4: Click Confirm order or continue through checkout using credits.

Step 5: Wait for the order to finish confirming.

Step 6: Open your account area.

Step 7: Check My Prize Draws for your confirmed entries and ticket numbers.

Using credits and card together

Step 1: Add competition tickets to your basket.

Step 2: Open your basket and check how many credits are available.

Step 3: If your credits only cover part of the entry, checkout may show an option to use credits and pay the rest by card.

Step 4: Check the number of credits being used.

Step 5: Check the remaining card amount.

Step 6: Continue to secure checkout.

Step 7: Complete the card payment.

Step 8: Once the card payment is verified, your credits are applied and the ticket numbers are confirmed.

Why credits only confirm after payment

When credits are used with a card payment, the full order still needs to be confirmed before tickets are created. This stops unpaid, failed, abandoned, or pending orders being included in a competition draw.

If the card part fails, the order should not become a confirmed entry. This means the ticket numbers should not appear as confirmed entries in your account.

Checking your credit balance

You can see your available ticket credits in your account. Your credit balance may change after subscription renewals, credit-backed entries, plan changes, or cancellation.

If you have credits but they do not appear at checkout, check that your subscription is active and that you are signed in to the correct account.

When credits cannot be used

Credits may not be available if you do not have an active subscription, your balance is too low, the competition is not eligible, checkout is for a subscription plan, or the account/basket details need refreshing.

If something looks wrong

If your credits are missing, the split payment total looks wrong, or ticket numbers do not appear after a successful payment, contact support so the team can check your credit ledger, basket and transaction record.
