Getting started

How the basket works

A simple guide to reviewing entries, managing multiple draws, using ticket credits and checking your order summary before checkout.

Quick overview

Your basket keeps your selected competition entries together before checkout. You can review the draws you have chosen, check ticket quantities, remove entries you no longer want, see whether ticket credits can be used, and confirm the total before moving to secure checkout.

If you are buying a subscription, the basket can also show your monthly plan and any first competition entries included with that subscription checkout.

Reviewing your basket

Step 1: Add tickets from a competition page.

Step 2: Open your basket from the basket icon in the header, or continue from the page that sent you there.

Step 3: Check each competition listed in your basket.

Step 4: Check the number of entries shown for each competition.

Step 5: Check the order summary on the right-hand side or below the basket on mobile.

Step 6: If everything looks right, click Continue to checkout.

Multiple draws in one basket

Your basket can include more than one competition. Each draw should show separately with its own prize name, entry quantity, and cost. The order summary then adds everything together so you can check the total before checkout.

Removing entries

Step 1: Open your basket.

Step 2: Find the competition entry you want to remove.

Step 3: Click Remove.

Step 4: Wait for the basket to refresh.

Step 5: Check the order summary again before continuing to checkout.

Using ticket credits

If you have an active subscription and available ticket credits, the basket may show how many credits can be used against your entries. If your credits cover the full basket, you may be able to confirm the order without paying by card. If your credits only cover part of the basket, checkout may let you use credits and pay the remaining amount by card.

Ticket credits are only spent when the order is confirmed. If a checkout fails or is abandoned, the order should not be treated as a confirmed entry.

Understanding the order summary

The order summary shows the number of draws in your basket, ticket credits used if available, fees, and the total to pay. Always check the competition names, ticket quantities, and total before you continue.

Subscription basket

If you choose a subscription plan, your basket may show your monthly plan instead of a standard one-off entry basket. The subscription basket shows the monthly price, ticket allowance, and any competition entries that are being included as part of starting the plan.

If something looks wrong

If the wrong competition appears, the quantity is not what you expected, credits do not look right, or the total seems incorrect, go back to the competition page or remove the item and add it again.
