How to enter a competition

Quick overview

Entering a competition is straightforward. Choose the prize draw you want, pick how many tickets you would like, add them to your basket, complete checkout, and then check your account for your confirmed ticket numbers.

Ticket numbers are only created once checkout has been confirmed. If a payment fails, is abandoned, or is still pending, those ticket numbers will not be treated as confirmed entries.

Click-by-click guide

Step 1: Open the Competitions page from the main menu.

Step 2: Choose the competition you want to enter.

Step 3: On the competition page, check the prize details, ticket price, and entries left.

Step 4: Choose how many tickets you want for that competition.

Step 5: Click the button to add the tickets to your basket.

Step 6: Review your basket. Check the competition name, ticket quantity, and order total.

Step 7: If everything looks right, click Continue to checkout.

Step 8: If you are not signed in, create an account or sign in. We need an account so your entries, ticket numbers, and transaction history can be attached to you.

Step 9: Choose your payment method. You may be able to pay by card, use ticket credits, or use a mix of credits and card depending on your account.

Step 10: Complete the secure checkout.

Step 11: Once checkout is confirmed, open your account area.

Step 12: Go to My Prize Draws to see the competition you entered and your ticket numbers.

Using subscription ticket credits

If you have an active subscription, available ticket credits may show at checkout. If your credits cover the full entry, you can confirm the order using credits. If you only have enough credits for part of the entry, the checkout may let you use your credits and pay the rest by card.

When ticket numbers appear

Ticket numbers appear after the order is confirmed and the tickets have been allocated. If you do not see them straight away, refresh your account area after a moment. Failed payments, abandoned payments, and pending payments do not receive confirmed ticket numbers.

If something goes wrong

If checkout will not start, your payment fails, or your ticket numbers do not appear after a confirmed payment, make a note of the competition name and any payment or order reference shown on screen.
